This year, we have collaborated with our Partner Charity, Jack and Jill Children Foundation, joining their fundraising initiatives and promoting their great cause among our teams in EMEA.

From jumping off the roof of Croke Park to hiking a scenic route in Howth, we’ve joined it all!

Abseiling in Croke Park

We couldn’t miss the opportunity to join Jack and Jill’s fundraising event in July, which consisted on jumping off the roof of Croke Park – sounds equally exciting and terrifying!

Some of our most senior employees volunteered to join the charity for the event, and they did exceptionally well. The drop was almost 150ft (44metres) from the roof of the Cusack Stand in Croke Park, being the third largest stadium in Europe – fact that didn’t scare our volunteers off!

 

Over 35s vs Under 35s Football Match

One thing you have to know about the team at Fenergo is, we all like some friendly competition every now and then – even more when it’s for a good cause!

As every year, we organised the most popular football match (and team arrangement) in Fenergo: the so called: Over 35s vs Under 35s! For this day, our employees can volunteer to join their corresponding team for a fundraising soccer match. For very donation made by our employees, Fenergo matched the amount – and we raised €1,000 from internal and external donors, huge thank you to everybody who made it happen!

In case you were wondering... the Under 35s' team won a very tight match 2-1 after penalties. Congratulations to all the players!

 

Up the Hill for Jack and Jill

In October, we joined the initiative organised by the charity to “Go Up the Hill for Jack and Jill”, to celebrate their 25th anniversary supporting local families in caring for their sick child every day.

To motivate our employees to join the initiative while having fun, we arranged a group walk across a popular scenic route in Howth (Ireland), followed by a tasty lunch and a return to the office by bus. 50 colleagues from the Dublin office joined us for a sunny Friday morning hike!

For every employee taking part in the initiative, Fenergo donated the cost of one hour specialist home nursing care, to support Jack and Jill’s cause with children in need.
