Fenergo Wins Sell-Side Technology Award

4th May 2016, New York – Fenergo, the leading provider of Regulatory Onboarding and Client Lifecycle Management solutions, has picked up an award for Best Compliance Product at the fourth annual Sell-Side Technology Awards ceremony held in New York City.

Hosted by Waters magazine, Waters Technology and Sell-Side Technology, the Sell-Side Technology Awards aims to recognize the leading technologies and third party vendors in their area of expertise, through an auditable and transparent methodology underpinned by the input and experience of eight judges – four sell-side CIOs/consultants and four Waters Magazine’s senior staff members.

Fenergo Client Lifecycle Management helps financial institutions to efficiently manage the end-to-end regulatory onboarding and entity data management processes.

“What sets Fenergo apart from any other vendor in this category is its ability to continually monitor the regulatory landscape and translate upcoming and ever-changing regulations into rules-driven software processes that ensure and evidence compliance not only during client onboarding, but all the way through the client lifecycle,” explains Victor Anderson, editor-in-chief at WatersTechnology and judge of the awards.

Underpinned by a Regulatory Rules Engine, Fenergo Client Lifecycle Management ensures compliance across a wide range of regulatory frameworks, helping to re-use entity data and documentation collected for other regulatory purposes for new or evolving regulations. By expediting compliance across multiple regulatory frameworks and improving operational efficiencies (by up to 37%), Fenergo’s solutions can onboard clients faster (from 34 weeks to 6 weeks), improve time to revenue (by 30%) and overall client experience.

Speaking of the win, Marc Murphy, CEO of Fenergo, says, “We are honoured to have been selected as the Best Compliance Product by Sell-Side Technology. This award is certainly a reflection of the expertise, dedication and calibre of our regulatory, product and knowledge teams and subject matter experts. So too is it testament to our clients’ commitment, knowledge and collaboration, helping us forge a regulatory and product strategy that solves the challenges and issues facing their organizations. I’d like to thank everyone in the Fenergo family – employees and clients alike – for their utmost professionalism in delivering such high quality solutions”.

In 2014, Fenergo added the Regulatory Rules Engine to its Client Lifecycle Management solution, enabling financial institutions to comply with a range of regulatory frameworks based on a single, out-of-the box repository of rules. These include compliance with global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations (e.g. 4th EU Money Laundering Directive, Patriot Act, FINRA rules and FATF etc.) and a growing number of newer regulations (such as FATCA, CRS and global OTC derivative and market reform regulations like Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID, Canadian and APAC rules). This was followed in late 2015 by the introduction of Fenergo Data Integration Manager, designed to automatically, source, consume, process, validate and route client data from numerous data providers and utilities to the right internal and downstream systems.

In the past year, Fenergo has achieved growing industry recognition when it was named Company to Watch by American Banker and BAI (2015), Deloitte Best Managed Companies (2016) and ranked on the Chartis RiskTech 100 for two consecutive years (2016 and 2015).
